Bihar government backtracked on 2nd BSSC Prelims

Nearly after two months, Bihar government has backtracked on its amended Bihar staff selection commission examination rule. According to new cabinet decision, State cabinet has ordered to delete the Rule 5 of Bihar Staff Selection Commission Examination Rules, 2010, under which candidates obtaining 10% highest marks in first preliminary examination were to be declared successful for 2nd preliminary examination. But now this amended rule has already been deleted on April 6, consequently, cut off is bound to go higher. Now it is clear that 2nd preliminary examination will not be held for 2nd graduate level examination. However it is yet not clear, whether commission will declare 10% candidate successful or 5 times of the number of posts for mains examination. Existing rule suggests 5 times theory. On this basis cut off will be more than 420 marks for general candidates.
