Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducted first graduate level mains examination (Sachiwalaya Sahayak Examination) on 27 January, 2013. Mains examination question paper and Answer key have been provided on Commission's website. Any error in question paper or in answer can be informed to BSSC till 31 January, 2013. After then no complain will be entertained. It shows that BSSC is serious in declaring the result as soon as possible. It can be expected before 20 February, 2013.
As far standard of questions are concerned, it was a mix bag. It was not on the pattern of preliminary examination. All sections were mixed. There were very few questions from math. Except 5 to 6 questions of word formation , all reasoning questions were not so tough. GK questions were not so lengthy as it was in the mains. In the Reasoning section unlike PT. examination, not too many questions were asked from arithmetic. It means GS and Science questions are going to decide the final merit. One can say that it was little easy.
Keeping all these factors in mind one can expect a cut off marks based on one's performance. Since the General Hindi paper was qualifying in nature, hence its marks will not be added in the merit list preparation. So merit list will be prepared on the marks scored in Second sitting's paper only. In the preliminary examination cut off for general candidate's was 342 (on the basis of first result). In the mains examination cut off will be certainly go higher. How much, it is very tough to say. But one can guess and say that it will be around 390-400 marks for general category. It may be wrong, but is only speculation. Now it is up to you, to debate on the cut off. However BSSC is not going to give you enough time in debating the result, because final result can be expected anytime after 15 February. Total number of seats are 3285.

this blog post has become a hotbed of misinformation...people claiming the seats have increased...grade pay has varied, some posts have been reverted back to BPSC etc. i follow this post every once in a while and find that the no. of posts is increasing by hundreds every hour or so...last i read today was a gentleman claiming he would go to UN against this human right violation...common is he kidding? won't the UN ask was this the last exam on this planet? if not y not give other exam get selected and rest in peace with the truth that they r not the only surviving intelligent on this planet and there are people who are more smart, better prepared than they themselves claim to be. there are people who r claiming that the exam was of group d level. i know they are hurt but saying such words for this exam or any exam does not reflect well on their temperament...in other words all they are implying is that the grapes are sour because they could not reach upto them.
i fully agree with all that the commission could have come up with lesser no. of wrong questions if at all but saying they could not qualify because of those questions is not right. as i had pointed out in my earlier blog that everybody had to face the same set of wrong questions (however i know that the hindi medium friends were in a more difficult position as compared to the candidate of english medium like me for no fault of theirs).
there are more that can be said but then i have better things to do than to bide my time here.
when i read blogs here it feels like all that the whole bihar is thinking about is the gross injustice meted out to those who failed this exam however when i look for related news in the local papers i find nothing mentioned there.according to a post there was a huge student gathering outside the hotel in which the CM was giving speech however whien i checked hindutan i saw one full page devoted to the speech but no mention of the protest or the protesters outside the hotel. according to another post they were local hooligans who might have been paid up to do what they do best.

Not publishing revised answerkey and marks of candidates clearly shows that BSSC is concealing something from us. If 27000 result can be published in a record time of 9 days , then why revised answerkey and marks are still a secret ?? we want revised answerkey and marks not case or reexam.BSSC must do it on its own.

Agar re-exam bhi hota hai to parhne wale ko fark nahi parta hai, isiliye jo achhe candidates hain oonko Ghabrana nahi chahiye.

This Exam must be cancelled. This is not preliminary examination where error can be tolerated and 11000 result published. This is final examination. If bonus 12 marks could be given in pt then why not in mains for those who attempted? On Which basis question 111 was deleted? Why two answer for largest beach in India? Why DNA related question answer changed? Why question related to seat arrangement was not deleted? Why four questions were just opposite in English and Hindi? Why question related to all windows etc answer was left where either two answers are right or should have deleted? How can any commission prepare merit list on these errors? This is utter injustice. Only high court can cancel it. BSSC can not cancel on itself. Let us form a group and challenge as early as possible.

harek post k liye pahle 1/2 rank k hisab se 1/2 reservation k hihab se liya jayega. aise me total seat ka 1/2 karne ki jaruran nahi hai. 2000 se upar wale kuchh log reservation se jayenge. esliye gen me ranking 2000-2200 tak jaa sakti hai.

dear 8:45pm balle bahi ji,mai bhi merit list ko challenge karna chata hu,is exam maine 135 question attempt kiya tha,jisme se bssc ke 1st model anser se 25 question galat the,is tharah mera score (110*4)-25=415 hua baad me bssc ne sayad 9 question ko revised kiya(hindustan paper ke anusar)usme se mera 8 question aur sahi hua,is taharah mera new score (118*4)-17=455 hona chaiyae,lakin mera ranking 3100 ke baad hai jise lagta hai ki mere answer seet ko revised nahi kiya gaya.isliyae mai merit list ko challenge karna chataa hu.agar aap logo ne koi group iske liyae banaya hai to batayae,facebook par koi group hai to is blog par share kare ya apna contact de,karan ki patna ke sare neta is exam ko raad karne ki maang kar raha hai merit list ko sahi se revised karne ke bare me koi nahi kuch kar raha hai.......

Exam cancil hona hi chahiye....mera chota bhai ka 93 question sahi tha...bssc ke answer sheet ke anusar aur mera 103 question sahi tha...dono ka rank 11000 ke aas pass hai....ye kese ho sakta hai dono ke ramk mai kafi anter hona chahiye..par sirf 32 rank ka anter hai..hum dono central excise inspector already hai...kese marking kiya gaya hai kuch samajh nahi aata. Is type ka exam agar life mai tin-char de de to candidate depression mai aa jayega. Self-confidence ki aesi ki tesi ho jayegi. Dal mai kuch to kala hai ya puri daal kali hai...
